At Kal-Stone Creations, We have a unique product and skill set that will amaze you, we specialise in creating the most realistic interior and exterior faux stone and brick walls and even wooden beams made with a special Spanish mortar that is sprayed or trowel applied and hand sculpted and carved with absolutely no stencils involved. There are only two companies including us in the uk that can offer this service. Unlike cladding and vertical imprinted concrete we don’t just offer two or three styles of stone, the possibilities with us are endless. We also create almost any design of ashlar.unlike other stone and brick alternatives such as cladding and slips there are no limitations with the creativity of our service, for instance if you wanted a wall built from painite WE CAN DO IT!
Services Available
Stone effect render
With our stone rend system you decide a style of stone either from our photos or a thought of your own. Depending on your budget we offer two different systems, the fist option is lower priced but still amazing, we first apply the mortar to the wall via spraying or troweling around 30mm thick, we then colour the surface with colour pigment and water and then carve out the mortar joints by hand, with this system the stone pieces will not have defined edges and the mortar colour will be level with the stone faces. Our other stone rend system is a little higher in price but this is the most realistic system and is as close as it gets to real stone, the application is the same, but this time we carve and sculpt every stone individually, we then colour the stone to you desired finish and lastly we repoint the whole project, the stone pieces will look out of this world, we promise you won’t tell the difference between this system and the real thing, these changes makes all the big difference that’s why we recommend this system the most.
Brick effect render
I’m sure you’ve heard of brick rend before but our brick rend is different, we offer all sorts of different colours and styles such as, new brick, rustic brick, London stock, Accrington iron, reclaimed and much more. We first apply our product to the wall via spraying or troweling about 30mm thick, w then carve and if needed sculpt every brick individually after that we repoint the whole project, this system is very realistic. We can also fix cracks, chips etc. And recolour real brick walls.
Faux wood beams
Faux wood beams made on side with our smooth plaster like product, we apply to the chosen area vie trowel, we then add grain and other features such as knots to the beam, and colour to your desired type of wood. Trust me it’s more complex than you might think. We cover RSJ’s, create beams on flat ceilings and pent ceilings and fireplace beams.
Stone restorations
do you haves stone facades that aren’t in great shape? Are they perished? Splitting and breaking?We can help! We can 100% restore and refurbish your stone window sills, mullions, stone cladding, brick, concrete and much more. With our high end versatile lime based mortar anything is possible. We can either restore your masonry to its original natural state or we can finish with a breathable stone based protection paint to stop further decay, algae growth and other nasty stuff.
